While Jesus gave us our two main directives in life already (love God, love people; see Matthew 22:37–40), God does give us specific callings for our individual lives.
Rather than having a singular thing God wants us to do, most commonly, we’re going to do a lot of things throughout the course of our lives. We’ll have many callings, though we may not know what they are until they’re right in front of us.
How can we learn to trust in God’s timing when it comes to our various callings in our lives? How can we be patient as we wait on Him?
